26-year old Ashlee Steffens of Chaffee has pled not guilty to theft of hospital supplies.  Last week she was arrested in Cape Girardeau.  After being treated at Saint Francis Medical Center she allegedly took gauze, tape, iodine and bandages from a hall closet.  She remains in custody on a 25-hundred dollar bond.  She has a hearing on the 22^nd before Judge Gary Kamp.  If she makes bail she has been ordered not to be on Saint Francis’s premises.
