A Sikeston man accused of killing his wife has had his case set for arraignment in Scott County Circuit Court. 41-year-old Stevie Cordale Lott is charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm, endangering the welfare of a child and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution. Lott but was indicted by a grand jury, and his case was sent straight to circuit court.  On Sept. 12, the Sikeston Department of Public Safety received a call in reference to a domestic disturbance on John R. Lott has remained in custody since. An autopsy conducted determined Mrs. Lott's official cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the back of her head.
