18 to 2… That’s the record for the annual Doctor Versus Lawyer basketball game…. Oh yea, and the DOCS still have bragging rights. The lawyers hate that. So they have gone out and found a few “young ringers” in their attempt to unseat the men in white coats March 2nd at 5pm, at the Cape Junior High School “old” Gymnasium. Executive Director of the Community Counseling Center Foundation, Larry Essner says there is more than a game at stake – proceeds go to our fellow men and women who need help with mental illness. He tells KZIM KSIM some of these ‘ballers’ are pretty darn good! Some still play in city leagues while others hit the hardwood in college. They put on a really good show! Tickets for the game are 5-dollars. Tickets for the after party at the DOCKSIDE are 20-dollars and include the game, food, music, and beverages. There will also be a raffle and a silent auction.
