Several people were injured Wednesday morning in a crash involving a car and an ambulance in Ste. Genevieve County yesterday morning just before 9am. It happened on Interstate 55, north of Route 32 exit. According to Missouri Highway Patrol, a car driven by 40-year old Rhonda Sexton of Ste. Genevieve was northbound and ran off the right side of the road and hit three signs. She overcorrected her car and hit an ambulance. Six people from Perryville were in the ambulance and had minor injuries. Sexton was seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to a medical center.
