$150,000 worth of cocaine found in salvaged door

Feb 06, 2013 -- 10:27am

A Poplar Bluff automotive repair business found 150-thousand-dollars worth of cocaine inside an SUV door from a Texas salvage yard. Police Chief Danny Whiteley thinks the six pounds of cocaine was sent here on accident! The door apparently came from a Dallas area impound lot and was never claimed. When the repair shop ordered a door to fix a similar vehicle workers found powder cocaine tucked inside five plastic storage containers inside the door. An investigation is under way to find the source of the drug.
