A Marquand man is dead after being swept away in flash flood water Saturday night in Madison County. Missouri Highway Patrol Sergeant Clark Parrott says 59-year old Perry Miller was with three others a vehicle trying to cross a flooded out bridge on Route V, when it was swept away. Two people managed to get out of the vehicle and made it back to a safety. Miller was swept away by the water. County officials searched for Miller Saturday night and Sunday morning. His body was found Sunday morning just downstream from the bridge.
