The Southeast Missouri Food Bank is receiving community support through a charitable match from Bank of America.  The group announced they will provide a 2 to 1 match of donations given to the “Give a Meal” program.  Through this program those who donate will be able to triple their donations to help those in need.  The bank will match up to 1 point 5 million dollars.  Food Bank Development Director Kristen Canter tells KZIM-KSIM it’s important to have groups like this to work with. The Program was an unprecedented success last year with more than 8-thousand donors from across the country.  It provided more than 26 million meals.  In southeast Missouri the Food Bank provides service for 16 counties helping more than 55-thousand people.
