The VFW Post 3838 Auxiliary is PACKED with vendors for the semiannual crafts and collectibles show

Nov 09, 2012 -- 9:50am

It’s a good problem to have! The words of Kathy Birkbigler of the VFW Post 3838 Auxiliary in Cape! She says they nine new vendors this year and so many returning that they are flowing into the hallway and lobby! Toy train enthusiasts will be delighted at the antiques available this year! Birkbigler tells KZIM KSIM they always have unique dishes, linens, quilts and collectibles that generate proceeds to assist veterans…they know if they are coming through and need a place to sleep or gas money, the post is a safety net. Or if local vets need help getting to an appointment they can get help. The semiannual antique and collectibles show is on the 11th – Sunday – Veteran’s Day at the post on Kingshighway in Cape. Early bird tickets are 3-dollars with regular admission from 9am to 4pm only a dollar. There will be food for sale for breakfast and lunch crowds.
