Three masked men who attempted to rob a New China restaurant in Orlando, Florida, but left empty handed when workers couldn't understand their request. The men demanded money of three employees, but the workers could not respond to the robbers' demands because they spoke only Cantonese. In frustration, two of the robbers pounded on the cash register in a vain attempt to open it. At that point, the gun went off accidentally, and the robbers left empty-handed. No arrests have been made.

Jason Mayid, 25, and Justin Sanford, 24, who disregarded police barriers and direct orders as they ran toward a Florida Sheriff's Police helicopter, so they could take an awesome photo with it. According to the report, Mayid and Sanford told deputies they left a local bar after having a few drinks, saw the helicopter land and "thought it would be an awesome picture." Mayid and Sanford continued to take photographs with their cellphones even after the deputy ordered them to leave. They were charged with resisting arrest and disorderly intoxication.

Washington was in prison on an unrelated sentence, when he suffered a heart attack that he was expecting to die from. He then made a deathbed confession, admitting to the murder of Joyce Goodener on July 5, 1995. Washington believed he wouldn't live to face the consequences, but as it turns out, he survived his heart attack and now faces murder charges.
