Twiggs granted delay in drug distribution case

The hearing of a Cape Girardeau man wanted on charges of allegedly purchasing and distributing narcotics was delayed Monday because of additional reviews of details in his case. Attorney Jennifer Booth told Judge William Syler she would like additional time to review evidence in the case against her client, Zatrun Twiggs. She said Twiggs had not not seen videotapes that were used by a Missouri State Highway Patrol confidential informant during the investigation that led to charges of drug trafficking against him. Twiggs will enter a plea January 4th, 2010. He faces charges of home invasion, kidnapping and armed criminal action in Scott County.
