Vandals set fire to cotton bales in Dunklin County
Three cotton modules belonging to Bill Anderson were set on fire Sunday night on County Road 516 between Kennett and Senath. The Dunklin County Sheriff's Department is investigating to find the people responsible for the damage. Anderson said the three modules contained about 45 bales of cotton. The sheriff’s department said this is the first act of vandalism this farming season toward cotton or farm equipment in the south region of the county.
