Southeast Missouri State pares its Provost search down to three finalists
The Southeast Missouri State University Provost search committee has pared its list of seven semifinalists down to three! Candidates will appear on campus the week of the 30th for open and closed interviews with the public and faculty. Western Illinois University Dean Thomas Erekson, Alfred State College Provost Ronald Rosati, and Ithaca College Provost Kathleen Rountree will all vie to replace Jane Stephens. She announced her retirement last summer, effective the end of this year. Search Committee Chairman Bill Eddleman tells KZIM KSIM these final three were the best of the bunch. Eddleman says they are hopeful for a seamless transition with Stephens leaving and a new Provost taking over at the first of the year. Open forums will be held December 1st, 3rd, and 4th in the University Center program lounge.
