A Bollinger County man arrested on sex-related charges
A Bollinger County man is behind bars on sex-related charges. 31-year-old Michael Lappe of Sedgewickville was arrested late Friday and charged with a Class C felony of second-degree statutory sodomy and misdemeanor child molestation in connection with the alleged abuse of a 14-year-old girl. According to police, the girl's mother reported Friday that Lappe's wife had allegedly discovered Michael had been sexually involved with the girl for several months. The juvenile was interviewed at the Southeast Network Against Sexual Violence, where she admitted to sexual contact with him. Lappe was arrested Friday at his place of employment.
