A Perryville teen goes to trial next month on 45 sex crimes
A Perryville teenager in county jail charged with 45 sex-related crimes will go to trial next month in Jackson! 18-year-old Robert Patterson Junior was arrested in May and charged with 15 counts of statutory rape, 15 counts of statutory sodomy, and 15 counts of child molestation. Police believe Patterson had sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl over 100 times in the past year in Perryville and Bonne Terre. The incidents were reported to police after a picture of the girl was found on Patterson’s cell phone. The teen appeared before Judge William Syler in Jackson Monday. The judge set a jury trial date for November 5th.
