A knife incident in the Bootheel lands a Holcomb man in jail
A Holcomb man is jailed on an unlawful use of a weapons charge after allegedly wielding a knife last week. Dunklin County Sheriff’s deputies received a call Thursday afternoon that an individual was at Windy Acres Nursery and Florists on Highway-25 near Holcomb and was threatening people with a knife. 36-year-old Brandon Leslie was arrested and taken to jail. He is charged with the Class-D felony of unlawful use of a weapon. Leslie posted bond Monday and has an initial arraignment before Judge John Spielman this week in Kennett. Nobody was injured in the incident.
