A Tour of Missouri cyclist pays a visit to Cape
The Tour of Missouri will make a stop in Cape Girardeau in exactly one month! Organizers, officials, sponsors, and even the pro cyclists are getting excited about the week-long event throughout the state the week of September 7th. 30-year-old Brad Huff is a pro with Team Jelly Belly who will participate in the event this year. He paid a visit to Cape Tuesday to scout out the course and help strum up excitement in the downtown. Huff tells KZIM KSIM as a native Missourian from Fair Grove, near Springfield, this is like coming home. Huff says the biggest thrill he gets from racing is the rush from spectators cheering them on throughout the race course. Huff has already won races in Tulsa and Chicago this year. Cape is the finish line September 8th after an 11 AM start in Sainte Genevieve.
