Two separate deaths reported at the Southeast Correctional Center
Two inmates have died at the Southeast Correctional Center over the past week. On the 4th of July, officer pronounced offender 68-year-old James Tuttle dead at the Center’s infirmary. Tuttle was serving a life sentence for a Saint Louis County murder. His cause of death is listed as natural causes. On Wednesday, offender 41-year-old Christopher Williams was pronounced dead at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Williams was serving a 45-year sentence for forcible rape, burglary, robbery, and armed criminal action out of Saint Louis County. He entered prison in 1987. An autopsy will be conducted.
