Scott County Sheriff’s Department recovers stolen property.

This weekend Scott County Deputies recovered stolen property that was recently reported missing. Detective Jeff Smith says Pemiscot and New Madrid County authorities contacted Scott County after reports trickled in about a theft operation. Smith tells KZIM/KSIM a search of a residence just outside Caruthersville yielded several high dollar items that were reported missing in Scott County, including several 4-wheelers and a scooter. Smith says several arrests have been made; their identities will be released when formal charges are filed. He says they continue to search for additional items.
